1. He is so good at listening to me (even when i know he doesn't want to) i am so grateful for that
2. Matty is SO smart and tries really hard in school and i know it's because he wants to learn all he can so he can get a good job and support our family.
3. The other day he did the laundry. Enough said. (no, not the first time just a nice surprise when i came home from work)
4. We don't argue. i know there's a we in that sentence but i come from a family of professional arguers (not really, only one cousin is a lawyer but many of us are really good at it) so i think if i married someone who also has that background it would not be good.. I'm writing this because currently our neighbors are really going at it. again. and i'm glad that that's not how our home is. This isn't to say that Matty and i aren't opinionated people or that we always agree on everything, but we try not to escalate problems. We talk things through or realize it's not all that important after all and let go of time we disagree.

ps- i think this will be my last session teaching swim lessons up at Gunstock Ranch. After 5 years of teaching (4 year round) i think i have come to the point where i am getting burnt out. Hopefully i can help out by subbing up there but i don't want classes of my own anymore.. However i'll miss riding my bike home and seeing this
